E-mail is generally not a secure form of communication. You understand
that if you choose to communicate with the therapist by e-mail,
the confidentiality of any e-mailed information cannot be ensured.
Although each therapist's computer is secure, no one can guarantee
who views any email while in transit.
If you ask for a response from the therapist and give the therapist
your e-mail address, you are granting consent for the therapist
to respond to you by e-mail, unless you request that a response
be made by another means that you specify in the e-mail to the
therapist.
