I have always considered this remark by Maya Angelou to be profound. In my
role as a therapist I recognize that most people simply want to be heard,
understood, and believed by those around them. I am aware of the impact this
belief has on both my professional and personal relationships and have a greater
appreciation for the role an individuals early life experiences has in impacting
belief systems and behavior. I often use this quote as a mantra to help me
see people for who they are.
Werther's Original. The butterscotch toffee candies seem to call out my name as soon as I walk into the office. I try to limit myself to just one but some days I know it's just going to be a two or three candy kind of day:)
