I am a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. I have been in the counseling field since 1991. My mission/purpose is to provide in depth individual counseling in order to give each client the necessary tools to change the addictive behaviors, and create a balanced healthy lifestyle/recovery program. I thank God for the Spiritual gifts he has given me that enables me to reach an individual where they are at emotionally, mentally, & spiritually.

I use the Rational/Cognitive behavioral and Client-Centered approach. I provide stress/anger management where applicable. I provide AODA individual and group counseling along with Relapse Prevention Planning. I also, use the “Spiritual/Christian approach when applicable.

My work experiences have included the Wisconsin Correctional System as a residential and outpatient counselor, as well as facilitating groups in the Washington County Jail. In addition I have owned & operated my own outpatient agency from 1996 until 2002, when I became an AODA counselor for Aro Counseling Centers, Inc., which is now Horizon Healthcare, Inc. in Milwaukee.
