How did you start in this profession?

As far back as I can remember, I’ve greatly enjoyed helping those that are in need of a little extra support. Throughout most of my early years, I volunteered as a child special education aide at my church. I believe it was my experiences with this that gave me my first glimpse at how special it is to be there for someone, and support them in accomplishing a goal. Also, I’ve always loved working with kids. They are creative, wonderfully resilient, and way more in tune to the world than we give them credit for! I believe both of those things have led me to where I am today. I love my job. I love hearing people’s stories and helping them discover that they can make exciting, wonderful changes. I am honored to be a part of each person’s journey. It is a privilege to be allowed to be a part of the process.
