Life is messy and confusing, but you do not have to suffer. Growing up and “adulting” are hard work. Sometimes, it is easy to forget to take care of yourself – to tend to your head and your heart. Taking the brave step of starting therapy could be exactly what helps you get from saying “everything’s fine” to feeling balanced and like you can enjoy life with all its emotions and messiness.

As a therapist, I strive to create an environment where you feel empowered and safe to be exactly who you are. I believe you are the expert in your own life and

I truly allow you to take the lead in your treatment. My approach to therapy involves teaching you tools to help you manage difficult thoughts and emotions mixed with guiding you through understanding what your mind and body are telling you through your internal experiences. In some sessions, we might mainly be talking, and in others we might be doing some hard and life-changing work. Whatever your needs and your pace, you are not alone in your healing.

I graduated with my Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO in 2017. After graduation, I worked as a case manager/therapist for adults at a community health center in a rural county of Missouri. After about 2 years, I switched to a school-based youth therapist position with the same agency, where I provided in-school crisis intervention and therapy to elementary, middle, and high school students. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in both Wisconsin and Missouri. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, and enjoy using it alongside other skills and techniques. I have experience with a variety of presenting concerns, therapy techniques, and age groups. Below is a list of areas I specialize in:

  • Ages 12 and up
  • Anxiety
  • Depression and other mood disorders
  • Trauma
  • Disordered eating
  • Self-esteem
  • Interpersonal relationships
  • Developmental and life transitions
  • Crisis intervention, suicidal thoughts and self harm
  • LGBTQIA
  • EMDR
