Her respectful, supportive, and challenging approach facilitates the process which empowers clients to make the healthy life changes necessary to reach their desired goals. Passionate about serving others, Leah believes that the therapeutic relationship is key to developing a safe and trusting environment for the journey. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques based on the client’s unique individual needs.

Leah has been assisting individuals, couples and families for over 20 years. Her professional background includes over 17 years with an employee assistance program providing direct client services and clinical supervision. She has also facilitated individual, couples and family counseling, and support groups in outpatient settings; and continues to provide onsite trauma response services for local companies. Leah obtained a Master of Science Degree in Educational Psychology from University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, and a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist. She has been a member of the American Counseling Association since 1993, and has received additional training in Solution Focused Therapy, Grief Treatment approaches and Gottman Couples’ Therapy.
