Clinical Psychology Associates COVID-19 Policies

ll of the therapists contracted at the Suites of Clinical Psychology Associates have your safety in mind. The following guidelines were created for an almost touch-free and socially distanced experience when you come to our offices to be seen.
Please confirm if your therapist is scheduling in-person sessions, as each therapist maintains her/his own schedule and many are utilizing both teleservices and limited in-person sessions at this time.

Please follow these guidelines when you arrive to our parking lots:

  • Please remain in your vehicle or outside of the building until three minutes prior to your appointment time.
  • Once you’ve entered the building, please go to the restroom and wash your hands.
  • At that time, the waiting room door as well as your therapist’s door will be open for you to enter touch-free to your seat.
  • For everyone’s safety, we prefer to keep our waiting rooms clear of people, so please discuss with your therapist if you need to be in the waiting room.

Each suite at CPA has agreed to a staggered start-time, therefore minimizing physical proximity between people. Please practice physical distancing if you do need to cross paths with someone else. Your therapist will follow recommended cleaning policies of any contact points.  Each therapist runs their own business and accordingly you should contact them to determine if they have their own individual requirements (i.e. wearing masks).
COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. Although there may be differing opinions as to how the virus can spread and difficulty in scientifically determining whether anyone has the virus at any moment in time, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. You must follow the above guidelines, those published by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) along with those that may be posted at the building. While CPA is taking your safety very seriously by following all guidelines as closely as possible, including employing new safety and sanitation initiatives, we cannot guarantee that any of these measures will completely protect you from contracting COVID-19. As stated above, teleservices are available, and you are therefore not required to attend an in-person session with your therapist. Any in-person session attended by you is voluntary. By entering the building and attending in-person sessions you agree to familiarize yourself with the most recent updates to CDC guidelines and you voluntarily assume responsibility for all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and are releasing CPA of any liability.
