Life isn’t always easy and sometimes you just need a little help when things are hard. I approach my role in the therapeutic process as a helper in navigating through life’s storms. As a therapist, my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and comforting environment for each and every client who walks through the door. I truly believe that the clients are the expert of their own lives, and it is my job to be a partner in helping them achieve their goals and improve their mental well-being.

I received my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor In Training (LPC-IT). I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in the context of individual and group therapy, along with neuropsychological test administration. My focus has been working with kiddos struggling with a variety of obstacles, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and adjustment to everyday life stressors. I utilize a number of techniques including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), social skills development, and mindfulness, along with multicultural competent and trauma-informed care. Since every client is unique, treatment is viewed as a collaboration, individualized to each client’s personality and circumstances.

As a mother myself, I understand how important of a decision it is to choose who will care for your child. I hold this responsibility with the utmost care and promise to always strive to build relationships on the foundation of empathy, compassion, and genuineness with both clients and caregivers.
