The decision to begin therapy can be a difficult one that carries many emotions. I strive to be an open-minded and active listener for clients who find themselves embarking on this experience. I find that a non-judgmental, conversational style of therapy helps clients to feel more comfortable, while allowing them to address the needs that have brought them to this journey.

As a therapist my goal is to help clients gain a better understanding of their mental health, while providing them with the tools they need in order to cope with the ups and downs of life in the healthiest way possible. I realize the needs that bring a client to therapy can vary greatly, but I believe that together we can work through almost any of these needs.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who received my master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. I completed this degree with a focus in Trauma – Informed Care. I have been trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) therapy and am currently working towards certification through EMDRIA (International Association dedicated to highest standards in EMDR therapy).
