Good morning Joy:
Whatever you said to (my daughter) in your meeting yesterday resulted in the most interesting, engaging, honest conversation that I have had with (her) in a very LONG time! She called me on her way home and we talked for at least 20 minutes…then she came home, had dinner with us and continued to talk until probably 8:30 or so. What an encouraging sign…thank you – so glad we found you!
Have a great day!
Thank you for the time you did spend with me and the effort you put into my treatment. I hope your practice continues to help others the way I have been helped. If I ever encounter someone with need for a psychologist or therapist i will definitely recommend you wholeheartedly.
I can’t begin to even put into words how you you have helped me and “saved” me for self disruction both mentally and physically! THANK YOU does not seem adequate for all you have done over the years and knowing if i do struggle to the point i cant cope on my own that you will always be there.
Jeanne has really helped push me forward. I was feeling very stuck. I actually drove by your building and saw your sign and looked up your website. I talked to you and you suggested Jeanne. Her background / experience in addiction management has been hugely impactful. She helps me stay focused on what I want my outcomes to be and helps direct me back to that even when I start over-analyzing as I tend to do. I feel like I am moving forward and making progress.
At my age I figured can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but after my sessions with Dr. H my life is finally where I want to be. I was unhappy and angry and going nowhere in my eyes. Now I smile and really feel happy in my life. The tools and encouragement given were wonderful and I use them often. Thanks so much for helping me find who I really am:)
I have been on/off seeing various therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, group counselors for probably 20 years. Joy Hartman was by far the best therapist I have ever met/worked with. She’s down to earth,no BS, actively asks questions and offers suggestions GOOD suggestions to help me with various situations. I felt comfortable with her instantly. I have recommended her to others and talked to many about how amazing she has been for me.
Thanks for talking me off the top of the backboard. Appreciate the time fitting me in, and the advice, even though you are a phd, being a father of athletes, that is helpful-been there, going there. … Thank you! Have a Happy Thanksgiving with your family!”
Joy is a very nice person who I felt comfortable discussing a variety of sensitive and somewhat embarrassing issues.
She is not judgmental but does guide you on your quest for a solution to your problem.
I owe a lot of this to you. I literally don’t know where I would be if I had never walked into your office that day in September in 2009 (I think). I know I have a lot of ppl that have or will continue to support me but you have been a constant. For that I am grateful. As I “call” on you less I still take solaice in the fact I have you in my corner.
Thanks again for all of your help so far. (My son) has made great strides with
his issues. He’s very much wanting to continue to heal. I’m impressed with the
insight he’s shown into what he’d like to work on. He couldn’t have gotten this
far without your help!
The work with Martha was helpful, and her gentle suggestions and ideas helped me process through my situation. She never judged, but offered empathy and compassion always. She also was able to be flexible with her fees and time when my employment situation changed, which was a huge benefit to me. Thank you!
Dr. Kent created an atmosphere of being able to talk about personal problems and situations in a non hostile, understanding environment and provide realistic, helpful tools to work through difficult situations. His compassionate, easy to understand discussions allow for self reflection without judgement and would recommend him to others seeking support and to learn how to analyze your feelings and emotions.
I have had a wonderful experience with Martha, and I was able to stop coming to see her, but when I recently had a problem and called Martha was able to get me in the next day.
I like to come in to Mari Ann’s office–it’s a well-lit, cosy, pleasant room with comfortable seating, magazines, hot coffee and even chocolates!
I refer to Paul Hamilton & Todd Boffeli as my, “dream team of doctors!” I have been sick since I was a teen & these two doctors are the FIRST to get me stable for longer than a few months. 2 years to be exact! They have bettered my life quality & because of that I have finally been able to accomplish goals of mine that most of the time I didn’t even have due to my depression. Paul was ALWAYS reachable via emails which made keeping my appointments or canceling/rescheduling a breeze! He was extremely easy to talk to & I never felt embarrassed or uncomfortable. I told him things I NEVER felt comfortable telling ANYONE! If that isn’t amazing, I don’t know what is! I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat & even those out of network would be blessed to have him!
When I came to see Dr Hamilton I was at the end of my rope. Depression; anxiety; loss of many interests; alcohol and anger. Our sessions ended over a year ago and as I look back I can’t believe I’m where I am today. Not divorced; actually happy and now exercising 3x a week. Never exercised before. In the last 1.5yr I’ve been able to deal with death of family members.; our beloved cat and an major change in my career. If it was 4 years ago, I’d probably be out of a job; lots of drinking and divorced. Thank you! for believing in me and showing me how to believe in myself.
First and foremost…I want to thank you. You have been such a source of healing for me. Your ability and willingness to listen deeply saved me from the tangle my mind had become entwined in. Your capacity to help me sort out the hurt and grief from the anger was tremendously helpful in my journey.
I have been going to sessions with Dr. Cynthia Rassiga-West for about 4 years now. The help she has given me over the years has done much to save my marriage and possibly save my life. She has been my lifeline connecting the world in my head to the “real world”. Without her help I would still be an angry, confused man….. My life is much more in balance now , which makes it easier to control my anger and depression. I know I can count on her to listen to my concerns and give me thoughtful advice.
If it wasn’t for him, I don’t think I’d be here today.
Paul uses language that is easily understood & makes you feel like it’s truely okay to be you in therapy!
Your personalized, supportive interactions, even before the counseling began, regarding strategy, financing and scheduling helped us to move to the next step in therapy…It worked this way with 2 different professionals at Clinical Psychology Associates…when people need reasonable & thoughtful interventions, you are there. Thank you so much!
Thank you for your coaching during my darkest hour. I finally know what it feel like to be in despair. Mine was when I did not wanted to face reality or even know the truth of myself. I shed tears that I did even now I had In me. The cleaning of my soul was the best thing that ever happened to me. Thank you for coaching me to trust the process of fear, brokenness, transparency and healing. You rock. Merry Christmas and Have an awesome 2016.
Paul…the referral is the least I can do for everything you have done for me….words really don’t describe how far I’ve come with your help.
Ann was the first therapist (we had seen 2 prior to her) to recognize our issues, understand them, and us, and lead us on the path to healing and recovery. Her help has been exceptional.
Paul, I have you to thank for helping me…That is why I recommend you so often  you really made a difference in my life…..
Tom, (my son) was very happy last night! I have been telling my friends he truly is experiencing the roller coaster of life, sometimes he shows the caring and responsibility of a budding adult and other times the temper tantrum of a toddler! He knows what he has to do to be successful but is constantly pulled by the “moment”, that is where I come in to put back his focus and give him immediate consequences.Thank you for helping (us) through this and giving us “tools”, it is up to me to use these tools on a daily basis to keep things on track.”
Hi Dr. Paul- I’ve been meaning to write and thank you for last week’s session. I realize you work very hard with (my son) every week but last week you gave him the gift of perspective, and it showed all week long. Something really clicked in him…. So for the gift of perspective I thank you, and for the gift of having you in my son’s life.
I followed my therapist to this agency…the agency is set-up well and operates smoothly. I appreciate the newsletter, and the direct voicemail to my therapist.
Martha is very warm and personable. Very easy to talk to.
I was angry drank alot hated life and my job and Dr. Hamilton found ways for me to get through it. He helped me realize I am a good person have talents and that being positive and happy is a good thing. Without him I don’t know where I’d be. Definitely not where I am today- happy and enjoying life. Thanks Dr. Hamilton! You are the best.
I love the assistance Martha has and is providing to me. Don’t know what I’d do without her! I’ve gone through many ‘life events’ while seeing Martha and she rolls with it with me… it’s so reassuring to know a true professional cares about this one patient of hers. She’s simply the best!!! I always say, ‘everyone needs a Martha!’ I mean that as the highest compliment I could say. Thank you all!
Hi there! Just a quick e-mail to thank you for the difference you have made in (my son’s) life, so far…. He’s doing things completely medication free…. I know you are the reason he is able to function better in….situations, so I just wanted to extend my deep appreciation.
Thank you again!
Martha helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I found my inner strength through working with her and have continued to grow into a more confident person. I am able to deal with people and situations with clear, concise thinking and express my needs and desires when necessary. Thank you, Martha. You helped set me on my feet to go forward into life. You literally saved my life one day, and for that I will be forever grateful…I go forward in my life with confidence and hope. I know my work with Martha helped me to grow into the person I am today, and to love who I am, and to share my light with everyone I meet. Martha, you are wonderful!
Dr. Hamilton, Thanks for all of your help. I look forward to seeing you next week and thank you again, for your good work and wise counsel.
You have been the best Psychologist I have ever seen & I will NEVER forget you & all you have done for me!!! You are an amazing man! Thank you for everything!
Last night was a breakthrough session…..Life is certainly an interesting journey. Thanks for your help along the way! Your guidance has been instrumental in my last 10 years. Enjoy your day Dr. Hamilton. Thank you for being you. Peace to you and your family!
Paul, You definitely have helped me to reconfirm my beliefs and develop clarity in our pursuit of happiness. I would like to thank you for your effort and will tell others as well.
I want to thank you for all you have done to help me. Your unbiased support has made me see things in a whole new perspective. Most importantly my self worth and respect for myself. It has been a long time if ever that i have felt this good! 🙂
Just wanting you to know that although I have much to be thankful for today, I am still most incredibly thankful for everything you have done for me. Thank you for sacrificing more of yourself than was required, for truly honestly caring about ME during a time when nobody else did, and for seeing me through my darkest days. There is hardly a day that goes by where I don’t think about how far I’ve come and who is responsible for getting me to this point.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
Joy has been a god-send. She truly listens and tells it like it is and gives me the tools I need to move forward with my life. I still have a long way to go, but I’m confident that Joy will be with me every step of the way.
Good Morning Mr. Holt, I just wanted to thank you for the positive impression that you made with …. For a long time now, we have struggled with beginning something and then not finishing. He appreciated the fact that you treated him like an adult…. Thank you again.
Hello Paul, Thank you for meeting with us today….We wanted you to know we really enjoyed meeting with you and like your style….Again thank you for everything.
Martha is absolutely wonderful.
Hi Paul! I again wanted to extend a heartfelt and humble thank you from an extremely grateful man. (My son) came to you many years ago as a confused and troubled teen….he will (now) achieve his dream. A dream I can say was unreachable in my opinion without your guidance with him and myself. Thank you Dr. Hamilton for a job well done.
I am not trying to schmooze you….but you are doing well with us….building relationship. (My husband) is really talking….. Thank You.
I think that you are really good at what you do. I really appreciate your help, and advice that you gave us over a period of 3 years. I will definitely keep in touch with you…Thanks again!
I just want to say Thank You for the time you have spent with me, and have gotten me thru these rough nights. I know you’ve taken a lot of extra time out of your schedule and it’s been greatly appreciated.
It has been a year of healing and reflection and I wanted to give you an update and thank you for helping me get the point where I had the strength to take my life into my own capable hands…..I had the ability and strength to take control of my own life. And do what I needed to do for myself and my children. I have also learned (or relearned) that I worthy of a loving relationship. The years of me being dismissed are over! I thank you for preparing me to learn these lessons.
Paul, ….please know that it was your help and insights that gave me the understanding of who I am, how it effects my behavior and what I needed to do to move on in a positive direction. I highly doubt I would have gotten here without you….
Hey Paul, I’m not sure if you would remember me or not, you treated me for a couple of years ending about 3 years ago…I wanted to thank you for what you did for me….I wanted to thank you for bringing out things….that many former therapists had not….Long story short, you say it to people straight and I know that’s what people love about you. You were in my life for a reason at the time you were…and I want to thank you for that. You were the first one who challenged me and therefore I am able to get help… Congratulations on building your practice like you have…..Sorry for the long e-mail, but I was reading the newsletter and felt I needed to tell you what an effect you had on my life. So again, thank you…
I must say that (my son) seems more adjusted since talking to you! Thank you is not enough.
I know this is your job and all, but that doesn’t take away from how wonderful you’ve been. I’m positive you’ve gone above and beyond what you’re expected to do. I truly see you as a hero. Not only to me, but to so many others. Who knows where I’d be right now had you not been caring for me. And really caring. There really needs to be more Dr. Hamiltons in the world, but I am lucky I found you.
Dr. H, Thank you so much for your help over the years. I am enjoying life to the fullest. A huge part of my mental health success goes to you…. Just feel the need to sincerely thank you for your guidance and caring demeanor during my time of need. You are often in my thoughts.
Martha has always made me feel comfortable in each session, allowing me to not feel judged by my actions or decisions. She has always allowed me to feel like I was in a asafe place and could say what I feel. She has always been open and honest about my therapy. I would and have recommended her to others.
Appreciate Paul’s down-to-earth, say-it-like-it-is approach. Highly recommended.
I always fell good after I speak with Ann. She’s fabulous and has helped me through hard times.
We would follow Joy anywhere she would go. We all really enjoy going to meet with her. (Our kids) feel very comfortable with therapy, which helps us all very much. They both have improved so much.
Dr. Hamilton, We are pleased to inform you that you have one of the most outstanding therapist in your clinic and we appreciate all the enthusiasm he has. Thomas Holt has been a great support to our family and has always helped us with our son. He has been a part of our family since 2008. The positive attitude and motivation he gives us should definitely be acknowledged.
We are pleased to have him. A thank You for all his effort and dedication.
I know that it is your job but I just wanted to say ‘Thank you for helping to find myself.’
Ann has made me feel comfortable discussing my issues.
Paul, wanted to drop you a line that things couldn’t be better in my world… Always appreciated your involvement and feedback into my chaos from a few years ago.
Paul…Thank you for all of your guidance and understanding.
Thank you, very much, Dr. Hamilton…You come highly recommended. I’ve done my homework, and I am very blessed to know a good number of people that are in the counseling field. You have a good reputation.
THANK YOU for all of your help, I know that if anybody can help…, it is you!
Dear Paul, Well it has been a long time since I have touched base and I just wanted to give you an update… I am doing really well and am probably the happiest I have been in decades. Thank you Paul. I appreciate your support during the darkest moments of my life. The decisions were the right ones… I have a renewed sense of hopefulness in my world. For as crazy as my….life can be, I can honestly say that I am personally happy. Thank you again.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me to see the path and that all along I have had the compass and did not realize it:)
Dr. Hamilton I hope you know that even though I am not able to continue seeing you, I think of you often and try to remember all you taught me. I will be forever grateful to you for the impact you have had and still have on my life and my (kids). I honestly believe I would not be here today if it were not for you.
Thank you again for your help, you have been a wonderful resource for….and have made a difference in his life.
Thank you so much for all your help getting me through such a tough time. Your guidance, support, and reassurance really gave me confidence to proceed when I may have even second-guessed myself.
Martha has been great throughout this very difficult time for me. She is compassionate and has offered great assistance. I am forever grateful to the person that referred me to her. Thank you Martha, I don’t have enough words to express what your support and guidance means to me.
Paul, I’ve referred you to a friend…I’ve spread the word about how much I like coming to you…and word spread.
Many people…..asked him if he had a good therapist and he only had good things to say about you. Told one person he finally, after many (therapists), found a good match and how much he liked you, so thanks again for working with him…..
Ann, I just wanted to thank you once again…to helping me through the most difficult and painful time of my life…I’ll remember your words and advice.
My care at Clinical Psychology Associates is excellent. Dr. Paul Hamilton has helped me greatly every session. He has been wonderful in helping me work out problems with his timely advice and concern.
Joy is a great sounding board. She tells it like it is and she genuinely cares.
Thank you so much for your time last week, I do not think I would have been as successful without your help.
Ann is beyond wonderful and has helped save our marriage.
Paul…thanks for helping me sort out some of my innermost feelings. You really did help me get in touch with myself.
You have brought out so many other things in me that I didn’t even know… Thank you for being there for me this past year. I know I can count on you to get me through this as you have everything else. Thanks Doc.
Thank you for your willingness to meet with me…I have recommended you to a friend of mine.
Thank you again for being a positive, supportive, available professional.
Paul, I’ve been thinking a lot about it, and I realized that no one, including my family, has ever stood up for me ….I can’t tell you how much that means to me. You are very much appreciated!
Thank you for your help and guidance during the past couple of months. I am positive we are on the road to making our marriage more rewarding and successful, thanks to your assistance.
My son has been in therapy before and claimed nothing worked. He was hesitant to try again. (We weren’t with Clinical Psych. Associates). He feels the strategies and therapy sessions are helping this time, so it has been a positive experience thus far.
Paul, Thank you for ALL that you have done to help me, words can never express my appreciation for your support and encouragement even when I didn’t believe there was hope, and there you were cheering me on… You are wonderful! Thank you again for hanging in there with me through this craziness I call my life. Have a great Christmas with your beautiful family, and may God bless you!
Martha always has a clear understanding of my situations and has amazing insights and recommendations. She has had a very positive impact…on my life.
Ann’s previous experiences, and her open and caring attitude, were tremendously helpful. I would definitely recommend her to anyone seeking help.
Paul, Your words have helped me greatly over the years. You have given me confidence and clarity in a very confusing time.
You are the only psychologist that I have ever liked…You are one of the only people in the world who I trust…Thanks for not giving up on me.
Joy has been an amazing therapist…I don’t know anyone who understands patients like she does.
Relax knowing you again helped me and others throughout the year!
Ann has tremendous understanding of human dynamics. She challenged me to look at myself and my situation in a positive, non-threatening way. She helped me move forward with a difficult family situation.
I know I would not have made it this past year if it hadn’t been for your help. Our situation makes my head spin, and you have been a calming logical voice through it all. You’ve given me positive things to focus on and I appreciate it.
I’m not sure how things are going to end up….but I am in a much better place than I was. I feel stronger than I have in a long time and am actually excited about the future. Many of the questions I struggled with have been answered and I feel much more at peace.
You got me through the worst. You stayed with me. I don’t think you could have done anymore than you did. And most therapists wouldn’t have done as much as you did.
I’m really glad that I’m alive right now. So…thanks. That’s a pretty big accomplishment on it’s own. And it’s all you.
I want to thank you for all you’ve done to help me through the most awful time in my life.
Martha Jackson is an excellent therapist. She was completely attentive to me during our sessions. She has excellent listening and affirmation skills. She didn’t tell me what to do or how to feel, but rather helped me toward my own answers and my own truth….she taught me how to be OK with who I am….I still think about what she taught me and I am grateful!
I wish we would’ve picked you 1st as a therapist. We’re both just so comfortable with you.
I just want to give you some kudos. Our son usually was very relcutant to see other counselors, but for you, he just hops right into the car on appointment days. It’s just so refreshing that he is so comfortable with you and a relief to us that he has someone he can open to.
I’m so greatful for you Paul. Thank you for reading my emails and listening to my thoughts.
Paul, you’re wonderful. I am so encouraged…Thank you again for your kindness and help.
We just wanted to let you know that we really like coming to see you. We’ve seen other couple’s counselors, but there’s no one we feel as connected with. You’ve really helped us.
Hi Paul. Just wanted to say thanks for getting (my son) an appointment so quickly. He says you are “cool” and that he will go back to see you again, willingly! Yeah! He seems positive about having you “help” him, so that makes me feel like this was definitely a good choice.
Thank you once again, Paul. You help me more than you know.
Without your evaluation, I would have surely lost my daughters. So I cannot thank you enough, Paul. You gave me a new chance at life, and you practically gave me my children back!
Thanks, you are a life saver!! literally!
I couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks for…everything, really. You’re the best! I truly appreciate all you’ve helped me with and who you’ve helped me become as a person. So, honestly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
I have known for years that I would need to see a male therapist, and Paul Hamilton is the right guy.
You are seriously everything I’ve ever wanted in a doctor.
I’ve never known a better doctor.
I just wanted to drop you a line and say THANKS! Since I met with you…I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I owe it all to you….I once again have hope that my anxiety is a part of my past rather than my future. I am so looking forward to my new life when I am through with all this. Thanks again for…truly giving me hope!
You are one of only two or three psychologists that I trust in the area.
There’s absolutely no way I can put into words how grateful I am that you’ve been around. I probably wouldn’t have made it through last night…except for you being there.
I want to thank you for being a genuine, caring person as well as a great therapist. I feel so much more hopeful about my future knowing I can be fully honest with you and by extension, with myself.
Thank you again, Paul. You are truly made for your profession and I’m grateful you’re my “doc”.
Thank you for helping me learn to be selective, have self respect enough to know that my preferences count and my time on this earth is valuable and to be used to best advantage.
Paul…Thank you so much for always being there for us.
Finally, I want to thank you for all the help you gave me. You made me open my mind and my eyes. I really see the world in a different light now. Thanks again.
It truly does help to know I’m “in this” with someone. Thank you for being you, someone I can trust and respect and know sincerely cares about his patients.
You were the one that aided in my full recovery.
Celebrate the fact that you make a positive difference in your patients’ lives.
Paul, I just want to sincerely thank you for everything that you have done for me over the years. I know “it is your job”, but really, you have made my life so much better and I honestly don’t know if I would be alive if I wouldn’t have found you. Thank you.
Did I ever say “thank you” for being there for me through all this? I don’t care if “it’s your job”, I think you’re an exceptional person and I think I lucked out to have you as a therapist. God sent me a very decent person and I appreciate it more than you know.
I feel much calmer and more peaceful for some reason. You have that effect on me, young man! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It is a Godsend to have you taking care of my son.
