As the owner of Dandelion Counseling Services, I incorporate the symbolism of the dandelion, helping clients to experience inner peace, clarity, and healing. 

I strive to create a welcoming environment characterized by acceptance, empathy, and empowerment while infusing a bit of humor when appropriate. When working with children, I utilize play therapy techniques to allow them to work through that which they cannot verbalize. 

With my adolescent and adult clients, I encourage each to identify their strengths and values to tailor treatment to best serve each client as an individual. I believe that people are the experts of their own lives, and as such are active participants in the therapeutic process. By expressing unconditional positive regard and empathy, I aim to build a relationship of trust with all my clients to encourage their journey toward inner peace, clarity, and healing.

Due to the unique needs of each person, I also utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy when it fits the needs of the client.
