As an LPC-IT, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective counseling services to children and adolescents. With a passion for helping young individuals navigate the complexities of their lives, I employ a nondirective child-centered play therapy approach when working with children, and a person-centered approach when working with teens.

With an understanding of the importance of a child’s natural inclination towards self-expression and exploration, I create a safe and nurturing environment where they can freely engage in play to express and process their internal worlds.

I collaborate with adolescents to identify their strengths, values, and goals, to improve their overall well-being. Whether facilitating coping skills for managing anxiety, exploring identity and self-acceptance, or fostering healthier relationships, I am committed to walking alongside teens as they discover their inner resilience and potential.

I believe in the importance of tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual, recognizing the diversity of experiences and identities within the child and teen population. Through active listening, empathy, and unconditional positive regard, I strive to build trusting relationships with my young clients, empowering them to navigate challenges, develop self-awareness, and discover their own solutions.

My experience spans a range of concerns including spirituality, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, ADHD, ASD, self-esteem struggles, interpersonal relationship challenges, LGBTQ+ identity exploration, and eating disorders. My approach is rooted in the belief that every child and teen possesses unique strengths and inner resources that can guide their journey towards healing and growth.
