As your therapist, my goal is to walk with you on your journey at your pace, supporting you through any challenges, things you want clarity on, or to talk through any uncomfortable thoughts or feelings you may have. I encourage self-reflection and introspection and support you in reaching your goals. I really value building the therapeutic relationships with each of my clients and believe it is one of the most important aspects in therapy. I strive to provide a validating, empathetic and non-judgmental space where you feel safe to disclose what you are experiencing and hope to work collaboratively as you gain tools to cope with whatever you may be struggling with.
I graduated with my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University, and I have experience working with undergraduate students on the autism spectrum. With this experience, I was able to integrate different approaches based on what was needed for each client. Some approaches I may utilize include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Theory, Person-Centered and Narrative Therapy.
