Owner of Inner Landscapes Psychotherapy LLC

Sarah Brooks, MS, LPC-IT, ATR-P
Practices in Oak Creek, West Allis, and via Telehealth

I believe it is our greatest privilege to live life as our authentic self—but sometimes we need a guide to help us move through trauma, challenges, and thought patterns that keep us from making lasting, meaningful change.

As a psychotherapist and art therapist, I am honored to support my clients in a nonjudgmental, supportive environment. I take a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to treatment, always honoring and affirming your unique lived experience and perspectives and moving at your pace to reach your goals.

All are welcome here. I specialize in working with clients across the lifespan, from children to elders, whether you are navigating trauma or PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief or loss, high sensitivity, neurodivergence, or chronic illness diagnoses.

Alongside traditional talk therapy, I can bring art therapy modalities into the room to help you explore and process your emotions through the creative process. Art therapy isn’t about creating an aesthetically beautiful end product, and no art experience is required; rather, it’s about leveraging art as a tool to understand your inner world. I also regularly incorporate mindfulness, somatic approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Adlerian therapy, and person-centered therapy into my practice.

I earned my master’s degree in Art Therapy with an Emphasis in Counseling from Mount Mary University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-in-Training (LPC-IT) and am working toward my Registered Art Therapist (ATR) credential.
