I believe that healing takes place through genuine connection with others and the world around us. Further, every human being has within them the innate tendency to grow into a fully realized version of themselves. These ideas are foundational to my therapeutic approach.

To me, therapy is not something that is done to a client, but rather something that arises out of the relationship in the therapeutic space. In sessions, I emphasize honesty, compassion, humor, and meaningful connection with my clients. Additionally, I use elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my work. I also incorporate psychodynamic, relational, narrative, and mindfulness-based approaches.

I received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University. I have experience working with a range of diagnoses with particular emphasis in autism, ADHD, and anxiety. I look forward to working with you!
