Alissa specializes in working with ages 12 and under, using a child-centered approach to foster a nurturing, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment for children to strengthen emotional awareness and grow in confidence. Alissa enjoys incorporating play into therapy sessions, as it provides children with a natural and comfortable way to express themselves, process emotions, and build trust in the therapeutic relationship. 

Alissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Family/Child Studies from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and a Master of Science in Behavioral Health Psychology from Carroll University. She has experience working with children and families in a variety of settings and is passionate about supporting young clients as they build emotional resilience, develop skills, and navigate important stages of their growth.
