What I strive for is helping my clients achieve their personal goals and supporting them through that journey with the appropriate tools and resources to do so. I am extremely patient and flexible, I feel that therapy is a process that cannot be rushed and should be taken at a pace that feels comfortable for you. As your therapist I believe in a strong emphasis on trust and honesty between therapist and client in order to build a strong foundation for the rest of therapy. I am committed to creating a safe and affirming environment for individuals regardless of race, gender, class, sexuality, religion or ability.
My current focus is working with children and adolescents as well as young adults. I have experience working with neurodivergent young adults. When working with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia and learning differences there is no one size fits all approach which is why I believe in integrating creative approaches based on the clients needs. I operate from an integrative approach utilizing many various approaches such as Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with an emphasis on mindfulness.
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental health Counseling with an emphasis on children and adolescents from Marquette University. I am a Licensed Professional Counseling in Training working towards full certification.
