Practices in Waukesha

I believe that there is power in healing through connection with self and other. In my practice, I encourage and guide you to slow down and reconnect with your center so that true healing can take place. In our sessions, we will work together to build sustainable wellness practices, lifestyle, stress, and pain management strategies while enriching your sense of meaning across various aspects of your life. We will highlight on your strengths, create goals, and focus on your desired outcome from therapy.

I have experience working in elder care, hospice, community-based, and school-based populations. My approach to therapy is an eclectic one, drawing from various therapeutic practices including mindfulness, narrative, psychodynamic, feminist, ecopsychology, humanistic, play-based, nature-based, and art-based. Sessions are client-centered, working from an unique, case-by-case basis to meet your desired needs and outcome. My values are creative expression, environmental sustainability, nature-engagement, and wellness. I take a holistic, social justice oriented, anti-oppressive approach to therapy. I will advocate for you, counsel you, and guide you as we see fit in our collaboration.

I hold a Master of Science degree in Art Therapy with an emphasis in counseling, from Mount Mary University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Training (LPC-IT) and am working toward becoming a Registered Art Therapist (ATR).
