Reagan Kunesh

Owner of Strength Within Counseling, LLC
Reagan Kunesh, MS, LPC-IT
Practices in Waukesha, Menomonee Falls, and via Telehealth
Reagan believes in creating a welcoming and affirming space where everyone who walks through her door feels seen, heard, and supported without judgement. She values authenticity throughout the therapy process and strives to help her clients feel empowered and safe enough to be their authentic selves. She acknowledges that everyone has the strength within themselves to grow, and is rooting for her clients every step of the way.
Reagan received her Master of Science from Marquette University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from UW-Milwaukee. She has experience working with a diverse population of individuals and presenting concerns, though she especially enjoys working with individuals living with chronic illness and/or pain, athletes, and young adults and college students. As someone living with a chronic illness, Reagan understands what it’s like to navigate complex conditions, find answers, and experience feelings of dismissal. Her experience has led her to engage in training and research to support this population.
Reagan uses a variety of evidence-based approaches, tailored to each client’s background, needs, and goals. She works collaboratively with her clients to uncover and identify their strengths to foster empowerment and growth, and especially enjoys using both Positive Psychology techniques and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
In her free time, Reagan enjoys weightlifting, spending time outside, going on walks, exploring new restaurants or activities, and attending all of the fun festivals in Milwaukee.
